Rossi Brings State Funding Home for Important Community Projects

HARRISBURG - Rep. Leslie Rossi (R-Westmoreland) today announced $3 million in state funding through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) for three projects in the 59th Legislative District that will preserve local history, support community services and enhance opportunities for residents.
“I know how important it is for our communities to have safe, modern and accessible facilities,” said Rossi. “The improvements at Ligonier Valley School District are especially exciting because they will provide students and families with the quality facilities they deserve. These investments also support important services and projects that contribute to the strength and character of our region. I am proud to help bring these resources back to Westmoreland County.”
The funding will be distributed as follows:
• Ligonier Valley School District Athletic Facilities – Ligonier Valley School District: $1 million to improve athletic facilities, providing students and the community with enhanced spaces for activities, competition and events.
• Arnold Palmer Legacy Experience II – Arnold and Winnie Palmer Foundation Inc.: $1 million to support the continued development of the Arnold Palmer Legacy Experience, helping preserve and share the life, achievements and lasting impact of one of the region’s most iconic figures.
• Enhanced Supervision Facility III – Adelphoi USA Inc.: $500,000 to support facility improvements that will enhance services and programming for youth and individuals served by the organization.
• Saint Vincent College Viewing Terrace – Saint Vincent College: $500,000 to construct a new viewing terrace that will enhance the campus experience and provide an improved gathering space for students, visitors and community events.
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program is a Commonwealth grant initiative administered by the Office of the Budget that supports projects with a regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and infrastructure impact.
